Who is the Civil Aviation Authority?
The Civil Aviation Authority is the statutory corporation which oversees and regulates all aspects of civil aviation in the United Kingdom. This includes making sure that the aviation industry meets the highest safety standards and manages security risks effectively, the environmental impact is efficiently managed, and emissions are reduced, and consumers are protected and treated fairly.
What is the Aeroexpo?
CAA attended the Aeroexpo at Wycombe Air Park in Buckinghamshire in 2019, an award-winning airfield venue at the centre of the UK’s General Aviation community. Over three days, the exhibition sees over 200 international exhibitors and 10,000 visitors. It offers the opportunity to get up close to the latest aircraft on the market and browse a range of aviation products and services.
What Were CAA’s Exhibition Stand Requirements?
The Civil Aviation Authority required a welcoming environment to entice and interact with stakeholders and other bodies within the aviation industry. The stand space was within a 30M x 15M marquee, so it needed to offer areas where information could be displayed for visitors to engage with but also space where visitors could sit down and speak to members of the CAA.
How Did PEM Exhibition Services Help?
One way in which we made CAA’s stand completely unique was with a bespoke curved back wall and two further bespoke curved and tapered side walls. Not only were these eye-catching and intriguing, they were manufactured to perfectly fit inside the confines of the marquee and created an encompassing meeting area.
In addition to this, behind the curved back wall was a storage area running the length of the wall which was incredibly useful for the CAA. Finally, every wall was covered in full colour banner graphics illustrating the areas of interest for attendees.
What Results Did CAA See from PEM Exhibition Services?
As a result, visitors were drawn to CAA’s stand due to its diverse and different stand design. With the accompanying seating areas, we achieved the welcoming environment that CAA were looking for.
